Julien Le Bordays (19th - 20thC)

Active at the beginning of the 20th century. Orientalist painter with a Fauvist and Symbolist tendency, Julien Le Bordays lives around Algiers until 1962. He is part of the School of Algiers. He exhibited orientalist subjects in Algiers at the Salon des Artistes Orientalistes Algeriens in 1914, at the Salon d'Automne in 1919, at the Artistic Exhibition of French Africa in 1930 as well as in Paris at the Salon d'Automne in 1912, 1913 and 1920 and at the Colonial Universal Exhibition of 1931.
